Earlier this year we heard Tinashe‘s take on “I’m Every Women,” along with collaborative singles with Cheat Codes and Shift K3Y. Over the past week, however, the singer/songwriter/dancer has been teasing something. It seems to be a new album that’s expected later this year, and today she’s shared the first single “Pasadena,” which features rapper/singer Buddy.
“Pasadena” is an up-tempo dance track, composed by Oliver Malcolm, that features boisterous clapping and shouts. Tinashe sings of sunshine and freedom: “Now more than ever life is all that you make it,” she beams in the opening verse.
