As we’re all camping out on Ticketmaster to secure tix for our favorite artists’ return tours, it’s a bit of a relief to see the resuscitation of less Live Nation–mediated events, such as free pop-ups. That’s exactly what LaunchLeft and Pirate Studios have been cooking up for Pride Month, with the reveal of their forthcoming Queer Artisan Pop-Up, which will take place in LA on June 26 at Pirate Studios on Sunset Boulevard. The event will feature performances from queer artists including Simone Istwa, Sonia Guiñansaca, and Will Jay, as well as artisans such as Besso, Petra Lemon, BEETxBEET, Suay, and Mecca Candle Co.

“I’m thrilled to be collaborating with Pirate Studios on the Queer Pop-Up,” LaunchLeft founder Rain Phoenix shared in a press statement. “LaunchLeft’s mission is to highlight under-represented and emerging artists. We want to get them seen and heard and co-create spaces where all are included. I hope that this event will be a great example of that. Also, the fact that this will be a zero-waste event touches on the many ways we feel that everything is connected—from the arts to the environment.”

The event will run from 1 to 6 p.m. PST at Pirate Studios (2807 Sunset Boulevard). You can read more about the event below, and RSVP via Eventbrite here.
