A couple weeks ago, R&B singer Snoh Aalegra announced her latest album Temporary Highs in the Violet Skies, the follow-up to her 2019 breakthrough LP Ugh, Those Feels Again, which will arrive July 9. Today, the sultry singer dropped her latest single “Lost You” with an I.P.W-directed video.

“Didn’t know that love could change ya / Then I woke up to a stranger,” Aalegra sings. “Lost You” is a reflection on wanting someone who’s already out of reach. In the video, Aalegra dons numerous dazzling jumpsuits amidst various cool visual effects. In one scene, she draws a labyrinthian maze, which is then later a mess of intersecting lines. It’s a fitting representation of love chaotically derailed.
