Lolo Zouaï broke out in 2019 with her debut album High Highs to Low Lows. Since then, she’s dropped a couple brooding tracks, including last year’s pensive single “It’s My Fault,” and the raw, heart-aching “Alone with You.” Switching gears, she’s returned today with a truly wild video for new song “Galipette.” The track recalls the sensual ferocity of an artist like Tommy Genesis. Here, Zouaï performs a balancing trick of silky vocals and breathy raps over clanking production. Heartbreak is far from her mind.

Furthering the intensity of the track is its accompanying music directed by Amber Grace Johnson, which is giving me Suicide-Squad-meets-Miley-Cyrus vibes. There’s an enchanting scene of underwater boxing, some fancy gymnastics courtesy of UCLA’s championship team, and a rendezvous with a teddy bear in a mattress store.

Watch it all below.
