Earlier this year, rap duo City Girls released their Song of the Summer 2k21 contender “Twerkulator.” It’s an outrageously fun track that samples Afrika Bambaataa and Soulsonic Force’s “Planet Rock.” Now they’ve teamed up with Missy Elliott, the queen of iconic music videos, to direct an equally fun visual.
In the video, Twerk City has been invaded by the Twerkulators led by Yung Miami and JT. And the two do, indeed, shake what their mothers gave them, knocking over buildings and taking over the streets with their dance crew.
