박혜진 Park Hye Jin is set to release her debut album Before I Die on September 10. She’s shared the restrained but joyous “Let’s Sing Let’s Dance” as the album’s lead single, and today we get a new song called “Watchu Doin Later.”

The tension of the single lies in the contrast between the rivaling trap drumbeats and the calm piano bit that’s looped in the background. Park delivers deadpan vocals and raps in Korean. Later, there’s some record scratching. It’s an unexpected hodgepodge that further illustrates the vast influences Park Hye Jin continues to draw from while maintaining an understated approach to dance music.
