This week, UK-based sonic wizard Squarepusher (a.k.a. Tom Jenkinson) has announced that his new album Damogen Furies will be released April 21. He’s also shared the albums first single—the spastic, cyborgs-on-speed rave “Rayc Fire 2″—as a free download over on his website.
Damogen Furies is Squarepusher’s first proper full-length since 2012’s Ufabulum. In a press release, Jenkinson said, “Through this record I aim to explore as forcefully as possible the hallucinatory, the nightmarish and the brutally visceral capacities of electronic music.” Hold on to your butts, people.
