The two tracks didn’t make the cut for their 2017 album “Love What Survives.”

Mount Kimbie released a very good album in 2017 called Love What Survives. They haven’t announced its follow-up yet, but they have shared a couple tracks that didn’t make their last album’s final cut. “Black Stone” and “Blue Liquid” have a similar pulsing momentum as other tracks on Love What Survives, but they do make great stand alone singles themselves.

A couple days ago the duo posted a photo of themselves (which you can see below) and wrote: “Here’s a photo of us together in the same country for the first time in over a year. Location—Yucca Valley! Kai flew over & we spent some time together writing new music in the desert.”
