Mount Kimbie Release Atmospheric New Tracks “Black Stone” and “Blue Liquid”
The two tracks didn’t make the cut for their 2017 album Love What Survives.
Mount Kimbie released a very good album in 2017 called Love What Survives. They haven’t announced its follow-up yet, but they have shared a couple tracks that didn’t make their last album’s final cut. “Black Stone” and “Blue Liquid” have a similar pulsing momentum as other tracks on Love What Survives, but they do make great stand alone singles themselves.
A couple days ago the duo posted a photo of themselves (which you can see below) and wrote: “Here’s a photo of us together in the same country for the first time in over a year. Location—Yucca Valley! Kai flew over & we spent some time together writing new music in the desert.”
Also, what’s great about these tracks is they’re giving them away for free! No big streaming parties necessary. All you have to do is sign in with your email on their site, confirm, and they’ll send you the downloads. Visit the site here.
