A few months ago Sharon Van Etten and Angel Olsen released a massive-sounding joint single, “Like I Used To,” which was produced by John Congleton. Now, we get a stripped-back version of the track that emphasizes their vocal authority—both stunning vocalists of our time supported solely by a warm acoustic guitar and some synth work glowing in the background.
In addition to the new recording, Van Etten and Olsen performed the acoustic version on Jimmy Kimmel Live! (for some reason hosted by David Spade) last night. You can check out both the recording and the performance below.
