Filmmaker Todd Haynes, who’s known for his acclaimed fiction films Carol, I’m Not There, and Velvet Goldmine, is releasing a documentary about the trailblazing band The Velvet Underground. It’s coming out this October, and today, we’re finally seeing a trailer for it.

The clip shares a glimpse of the interviews with members John Cale and Moe Tucker, in addition to other integral participants within the band’s scene. Stated in the press release, the documentary will also have “never-before-seen performances and a rich collection of recordings, Warhol films, and other experimental art that creates an immersive experience into what founding member John Cale describes as the band’s creative ethos: ‘how to be elegant and how to be brutal.'”

Watch the trailer below before the doc hits theaters and Apple TV+ on October 15.
