JPEGMAFIA has shared his latest single “TRUST!” this morning, and it seems like he’s feeling good! Well, maybe. Over a pleasant hyperpop beat, Peggy emphasizes that despite being fucked over, everything is fine. There’s a good chance there might be a tinge of sarcasm: “I’m looking good today / I bought a new suit / I’m ’bout to go to work and praise God,” he raps calmly. During the chorus, he reassures us: “Everything’s great! Everything’s cool! Everything’s perfect! Everything’s good! Everything’s kosher!”
In the accompanying video, he’s mostly shirtless and rolls around in hundred dollar bills. He looks great, but where’s the suit?! This is the first single released from Peggy since his latest project EP2!, which was the follow-up to last year’s EP!
