After 10 years of glory, Pavement called it quits in 1999. But then, in 2010, they reunited for their first set of shows since the turn of the millennium, ending in Buenos Aires with no plans for anything further, including new music. There was little indication that the group would be getting back together for any more shows until, well, today. Pavement have announced today that they’ll be touring in the fall of 2022 around the U.K. and Europe. The slate of 18 shows includes a four-night residency at London’s Roundhouse.
Maybe we should have been privy to the idea of another reunion tour when the band announced they were headlining Primavera, which has been postponed since 2020.
