As always (thank God), the Golden Raspberry Awards honor the worst of the worst (the best of the worst?) in Tinseltown the day before the Academy Awards, with the 35th annual Razzie ceremony taking place this weekend at the Montalban Theater in Hollywood, just down the street from the glitz and glamour of the Dolby Theatre. And though everyone’s a winner when you try, folks, there were some losers this weekend as well, and his name is Kirk Cameron.

The Growing Pains star’s religious “comedy” nearly swept the “competition,” taking home Worst Picture, Worst Actor (Kirk Cameron, obviously), Worst Screenplay (actually not written by Kirk, surprisingly), and Worst Screen Combo (Kirk Cameron & His Ego).

It was not all laughs and insults, however, as this year featured the first ever Redeemer Award, which was awarded to Ben Affleck for his turnaround from Gigli in 2003 to the Best Picture–winning Argo last year, as well as a surprisingly good performance in David Fincher’s Gone Girl this year.
