Last month, Lizzo made her grand return to music with the Cardi B collab “Rumors,” her first new material since her 2019 album Cuz I Love You. Today, she’s come to the halls of BBC Radio 1 to perform the single, in addition to covering BTS’s big summer smash “Butter.” Don’t worry, there’s a flute solo!
“I’m a sucker for people who make positive music, and BTS does that,” Lizzo said. “The world is falling in love with them because they are so sweet and pure, and they’re good-hearted. I wanted to bring some more positivity into the world via their song. I hope we do it justice.”
