30 years ago, in true Madonna fashion, the pop sensation grasped the world’s attention with her tour documentary Madonna: Truth or Dare. Three decades later and she still has our full attention with the anniversary celebration for that film that’s taking place on Halloween weekend.
There will be a showing of the film, which documents Madonna’s Blond Ambition tour, at Exposition Park in Los Angeles on October 28. But the party doesn’t stop there—before the screening, there will also be a live vogue showcase hosted by Legendary Damon and emcee Shaun Ross, with music provided by MAAD and Val Fleury. Post-film there, of course, will be a dance party—including Desire spinning a selection of covers from the Italians Do It Better tribute album and Mothermary performing “Like a Virgin” live—along with Italian food.
