Tame Impala‘s 2020 album The Slow Rush is getting the deluxe box set treatment, which will be available February 18. It’ll include B-sides and remixes, the first of which we get to hear today with Lil Yachty‘s spin on the funky, synth-heavy “Breathe Deeper.” The forthcoming box set also comes with two transparent red LPs, a 40-page booklet, and a 2050 calendar.
“It was so amazing to work with Kevin as I’ve been a big fan since high school so it was a pleasant surprise and honor to be a part of such an incredible song,” Yachty said of the collab. The “Breathe Deeper” remix also comes with a trippy video. The graphics are shifty and the colors are heavily saturated. Yachty’s smooth voice sounds like the perfect fit alongside the gliding piano plucks and glinting percussive chimes.
