Next year, David Bowie‘s legacy is turning 75 years old. We’ve already heard about some pretty big boxsets that are coming out this year, and now we’ve got even more to celebrate with news from Bowie’s Estate. Today, they’ve announced two pop-ups coming to New York City and London. Bowie 75 will take place at 14 Heddon Street—which is where the cover for The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars was shot—and 150 Wooster Street—where Bowie lived in downtown NYC—between October 25 and late January 2022.

According to the press release, these two pop-ups will offer “immersive audio and HD video screening rooms in partnership with 360 Reality Audio, an immersive music experience using Sony’s spatial sound technologie,” and “hours of video content including previously unseen behind-the-scenes material, rare footage from the Heathen and Reality eras.” There will also be limited edition merch and collectables.

“We want our spaces to be engaging and exciting, bringing new concepts and brands which complement the destination and give people new reasons to come to London’s West End,” said Laura Thursfield, Customer Partnership Manager at The Crown Estate. “This pop up is not only an opportunity to build on Heddon Street’s history, as the location of the album cover shoot for The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, but a really interactive, creative approach to retail.”
