2015. Polaris

Polaris—the house band of your youth—is, once again, heading out on tour, and reigniting the love of flannel, redheads, and the ’90s all along the way. While you might know the songs to the group’s 1999 debut (and only) record Music from The Adventures of Pete & Pete by heart, this spring you can listen to tracks from the classic Nickelodeon show in a whole new way: on the album’s just-announced vinyl re-release.

As part of 2015’s Record Store Day, which falls on April 18, songs like “Hey Sandy” and “As Usual” will finally get the rich, warm sound, and treatment, that they they deserve. Just as with any RSD exclusive, it will only be a matter of hours before the album is completely sold out, so make sure to get your pop-up tent ready to go. You might want to think about camping out for tickets to see Polaris live, as well.

Check out the band’s upcoming tour dates and Little Pete’s rendition of “Summerbaby.”
