Last month, Beach House shared the first taste of their forthcoming double album Once Twice Melody, which is out February 18. The duo is releasing it in chapters, which vary in length from four to five tracks a piece. Today, they’ve shared the second chapter.

Once Twice Melody is the first Beach House album that’s been entirely produced by the duo, and was recorded at Pachyderm Studio in Cannon Falls, Minnesota, United Studio in Los Angeles, and Apple Orchard Studios in Baltimore. They even recruited a live string ensemble with arrangements by David Campbell, who’s composed for everyone from Carole King to Harry Styles.

The second chapter of Once Twice Melody is filled with new wave synth-pop and shoegazey ballads, forming a technicolored collage of cherubic synths and kaleidoscopic drumbeats. This batch of songs includes “Runaway,” “ESP,” “New Romance,” and “Over and Over.”

Listen to all four tracks and watch the lyrical animations below.
