George Harrison‘s “My Sweet Lord,” the recently platinum single from 1970’s All Things Music Pass, was released before the music video craze of the 1980s. Today, however, the single is belatedly getting a visual courtesy of a handful of familiar names. Directed by Lance Bangs and executive produced by Dhani Harrison and David Zonshine, the video features a lengthy roster of comedians, actors, and musicians.
The video stars Fred Armisen and Vanessa Bayer as mysterious agents on some sort of undercover quest. On their search they run into a slew of characters, including those played by Natasha Legerro, Jeff Lynne, Reggie Watts, Darren Criss, Patton Oswalt, Al Yankovic, Ringo Starr, Joe Walsh, and Jon Hamm. Then there are a bunch of people who they don’t run into, but who still make appearances, including Taika Waititi, Eric Wareheim, Tim Heidecker, and Paul Scheer. And that’s truly not even half of the cameos in this thing.
See who else you can identify in the video below.
