Omaha, Nebraska’s Twinsmith have spent the last year recording new music and opening for Mac DeMarco and their Saddle Creek labelmates Cursive; now they’re ready to share their sophomore album with the world, starting with their latest song “Alligator Years,” premiering exclusively for FLOOD.
The title track from their forthcoming album has lead singer Jordan Smith channeling his caffeine-high energy into three minutes of effervescent pop-rock, as sneering vocals cut through the saccharine sheen of a relentlessly upbeat organ.
Alligator Years is out May 5 via Saddle Creek, but you can pre-order the album here.
The band is also on tour throughout the spring season, including stops at SXSW in Austin.
