Today, it’s serving up a lovely slice of dreamy guitar rock bliss courtesy of Kurt Vile and the Violators, “Timing Is Everything (And I’m Falling Behind).” The track is an Amazon exclusive, and can be purchased/streamed here.

“[This song is] a candid snapshot of KV & the Violators ‘at home,’ where we like it: sparse and jangly and as live as possible,” Vile explained in a press statement. “This jam was one of many contenders for the last album, but we gonna start peeling ’em off for ya now instead.”

That “last album” Vile referenced is the outstanding Bottle It In, which debuted in October of last year. The guitarist and company are currently out on the road supporting the full-length, with upcoming dates in Detroit (February 19), Las Vegas (March 3) and New Orleans (March 10).
