Los Angeles natives Charlie Ellis and Emily Ibarra make stratospheric synth-rock music under the moniker Polyplastic. They're readying the release of their debut album Medium Complications for next month. We've already gotten a glimpse with the singles "Brain Masher" and "I See a Dip," and today, they've shared the official music video for the latter.

"The music video for 'I See a Dip' is a monster creation story, showing how the two figures from our album cover came into existence," Ellis explains. "We shot the video on the hottest weekend in October—it was about 100 degrees, and cooked ourselves even further because the silver room at the end of the video was basically a solar oven. The video is totally nonsensical but I think it shows off what we do best at Polyplastic—creating a playful world for our dark songs to live in."

The visual was directed by Ellis, Rie Katagiri, and Jilly Moreno, and it features the band creating a bizarre city of tiny silver houses before getting shrunken down and inhabiting them. Watch it below.
