As we get closer and closer to the day when we will all bow down to Marvel as our new cinematic overlords, it makes sense that they would team up with Netflix—our new home entertainments overlords—to release a number of unique superhero series each featuring the special power of not allowing us to leave our couches for all eternity.

The first of four in that mega-deal, a reboot of Daredevil, is being overseen by the writer and director of The Cabin in the Woods, Drew Goddard, who is faced with the challenge of making something better than Ben Affleck’s 2003 disaster. Keeping your goals realistic, eh Drew?

Replacing Affleck this time around is Charlie Cox, who you may remember as the super nice church dude from The Theory of Everything, and Vincent D’Onofrio has taken the role of Kingpin (good luck with that, buddy…).

You can check out the trailer for the first season below, which will be released all at once on April 10.

The first season of Daredevil is available to stream on April 10 via Netflix.
