Late last year, Emma Ruth Rundle released a gorgeously devastating album titled Engine of Hell. She's returned today to announce her new EP Orpheus Looking Back, which is a tiny batch of songs that came together during the Engine sessions but didn't make the final cut. It will be released on March 25 via Sargent House, but the first glimpse of this project arrives today through the single "Pump Organ Song."

Recorded with a pump organ—hence the title—the song came about as a response to the dissolution of her marriage. “In the year that has come since recording the song, I feel more and more connected to this love song," Rundle said. "It is still speaking to me about the process of parting ways and how romantic arrangements change and relationships close.”
