Charlie Hickey is one of the latest signees to Phoebe Bridgers' Saddest Factory Records. Since releasing his debut EP Count the Stairs last year, he's solidified himself as an artist who makes the world feel a little less lonely with his earnest indie pop songs. Now he's announced his debut album that's out May 20 and released the title track "Nervous at Night." It's a comforting lament about free-floating anxiety and melodramatic emotions that feel like they'll burn a hole in your chest.

Hickey shared that it was one of the first songs written for the album. “It captures a lot of the anxiety and beauty that comes with growing up and having new feelings," he said. "It's a song about being nervous for no particular reason, which is a running theme on this album, and also one that I think a lot of people, particularly of my generation, can relate to."
