We're officially two days into spring, which means that we're only 91 days away from summer and all the crazy social events that will soon fill up our calendars when the weather gets warmer. Today, Lollapalooza announced its lineup, which includes headliners Metallica, Dua Lipa, J. Cole, Green Day, Doja Cat, Machine Gun Kelly, Lil Baby, and Kygo. Hmm, yeah, it's a bit of a mixed bag! But not to worry, the four-day fest, which returns to Chicago's Grant Park on the weekend of July 28, is hiding their better acts lower in the lineup.
Other big names visiting Lolla this year include: Charli XCX, Turnstile, Jazmine Sullivan, Maxo Kream, Glass Animals, YG, Beach Bunny, Dominic Fike, 100 gecs, PinkPantheress, Denzel Curry, IDLES, Wallows, Still Woozy, Manchester Orchestra, Cordae, Local Natives, girl in red, Willow, Remi Wolf, Tove Lo, Ashnikko, MUNA, Horsegirl, Pom Pom Squad, Wet Leg, Meet Me @ the Altar, and Genesis Owusu—and these are only a fraction of the familiar names my eyes picked up on scanning the lineup.
