Every day this month, FLOOD and Fender have shared a new video in our collaborative digital concert series titled the Vote Arts and Minds Sessions with the goal of encouraging folks to sign a petition to put the Arts & Music Funding Initiative—which would lead to increased arts and music education in public schools—on California’s November 2022 ballot. So far we’ve shared sessions with artists including Joyce Manor, Claud, Geographer, and Ade, and today we’re unveiling a live clip of The Marías performing their single “Little by Little” at a recent tour stop in Oakland.

The visual puts the viewer in a front-and-center balcony seat at Oakland’s Fox Theater while the LA group saunters through the single from last summer’s CINEMA LP. With a hazy VHS-esque filter adding to the clip’s dreamy quality, it’s the next best thing to seeing the group in person. Check out the performance below, and make sure to sign the petition to put the Arts & Music Funding Initiative on California’s November 2022 ballot.
