Madelene Eliasson’s debut album as LonelyTwin, This End Had No Beginning, finally arrived this past Friday, with the record’s vibrant songs matching the electronic glow of those of her Ultra Records labelmates including SOFI TUKKER and Calvin Harris—albeit with a more melancholy bent. Closer “Jump/Fly” in particular coasts on an electro-R&B instrumental and hypnagogic vibes, providing the ideal musical template for Eliasson’s falsetto and the perfect punctuation to the record.

Swapping this instrumental for a pair of acoustic guitars, LonelyTwin performed that track along with pre-album single “Pretty” for her recent “Neighborhoods” set filmed in her hometown of Stockholm, Sweden. Perched upon a rock in a local green space, she and a collaborator battle the winds with a peaceful rendition of both tunes, ending with an excited statement from a canine friend. Watch it below.
