A few days ago, Carly Rae Jepsen unveiled the title of her forthcoming album would be The Loneliest Time in a video ode to the moon on IG. Today she’s followed up on that reveal with the first single from the new record, which is out October 21—“Beach House” is an end-of-summer anthem looking back on all the disappointing boys Jepsen’s narrator has met on dating apps who lured her in with the promise of a vacation getaway only to learn that the boys’ mother of wife would be joining them, among other comically undesirable outcomes.

The single and album news arrive ahead of Jepsen’s upcoming North American tour—which will decidedly not be a lonely time, with the singer hitting over two dozen cities over the course of a month and a half. Find those dates here, and watch the lyric video for “Beach House” below.
