From cameoing on The O.C. to a recent collaboration with Noah Cyrus, Ben Gibbard’s career has taken him on quite the journey over the past 25 years. With his main project Death Cab for Cutie gearing up to release their experimental tenth album Asphalt Meadow next month—with early singles flirting with everything from post-punk revival to industrial rock to jangle pop—it appears as if there are plenty more avenues the songwriter has yet to explore.

For the latest episode of FLOOD FM’s “Hacked” series, Gibbard stopped by to share some hand-picked tunes and to share some stories about his experiences over the years as his career has evolved into what it is today. Following episodes with Surf Curse, Tim Heidecker, Soccer Mommy, Spoon’s Britt Daniel, Snail Mail, and others, Gibbard will be taking over the airwaves every day this week from August 29 through September 2.

Airing every day of the week at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 5 p.m., and 10 p.m. PST, tune into FLOOD FM here to hear what he’s spinning.
