Austin City Limits festival returned for its second year since the pandemic-induced break of 2020 and felt more locked in place than the previous year. While the headliners weren't as strong as years past, the undercard—and local representation—was certainly worth the price of admission and then some.
Highlights included Paramore (who made their triumphant return to the stage after a four-year hiatus), French pop group L’Imperatrice, Slayyyter, The War on Drugs, Conan Gray, and a Red Hot Chili Peppers lineup with John Frusciante back on guitar (despite ending their set early).
