Since 1997, Capitol Hill Block Party has taken advantage of the (usually) beautiful summer weather of the Pacific Northwest to shut down a section of Seattle’s arts and music center for a showcase of local and national artists.
This year, the block party continues from July 24–26 with an initial lineup headlined by Ratatat, TV on the Radio, and The Kills, and balanced with appearances from Built to Spill, Toro Y Moi, Jamie xx, Broods, Shabazz Palaces, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Lower Dens, and Wye Oak, to name a few, with plenty more names to be announced in June.
Discounted $99 weekend tickets are available from now until April 2, after which they will move to the regular price of $150.
