Two weeks ago, British electropop group Ladytron returned with their first new music since their 2019 self-titled album, promising “City of Angels” to be the first taste of a forthcoming seventh LP titled Time’s Arrow which is slated for a January 20 release. This week they followed that news up with an appropriately dark, mysterious, and vaguely clubby visual for the track, adding to the anticipation of the new project—as well as for Halloween.

Speaking of the upcoming holiday, on Monday, October 31, the band will be the latest artist taking over the FLOOD FM airwaves for a new episode of “Hacked” airing all week (“Where we’re from it is always Halloween,” they note at the onset of the episode). Spinning everything from Lush to Mogwai to Ennio Morricone to Laura Marling—with plenty of Ladytron in between—tune in here Monday through Friday at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 5 p.m., and 10 a.m. PDT for this special episode.
