Last week we woke up to the tragic news that Migos rapper Takeoff had been killed at the age of 28—a loss the music community is still mourning despite the shocking and untimely deaths of both Aaron Carter and Low’s Mimi Parker revealed over the weekend. Today it was announced that fans of Takeoff will be invited to celebrate the rapper’s life and permanent impact on hip-hop this Friday, November 11, in Atlanta.

Open to Georgia residents only, tickets are available now for the free event kicking off at noon local time at State Farm Arena. The event will have a strict no photo/video policy, with the family requesting donations be made to Rocket Foundation—an organization which inspires “community-based solutions to prevent gun violence”—in lieu of flowers or any other gifts. Find more info and tickets for the event here.
