There’s a new Caroline Polachek single out in the world today, just as the prophecy* (*posts across all of Polachek’s social media channels explicitly stating that there would be a new single out today) foretold. In even more exciting news, the new track arrived this morning alongside news of the pop star’s new LP Desire, I Want to Turn Into You, which will be released on February 14. Happy Valentine’s Day to all of us!
Desire will mark Polachek’s first full-length since 2019’s PANG, which seems to only be gaining traction as the songwriter continues to release high-caliber singles and collaborations leading up to the new release—most notably this year’s “Billions,” last year’s “Bunny Is a Rider,” and 2020’s epic 10-minute extended version of “The Gate.” Preview the pseudo title track below.
