2023 kicked off on a somber note in the indie rock community as we learned of the passing of Modest Mouse drummer Jeremiah Green on January 1. In spite of the tragic loss, the band will continue to tour, following up last year’s Lonesome Crowded West anniversary dates with a newly announced headlining slot at Quincy, Massachusetts’ In Between Days Festival in August.
The full lineup for the fest was announced today, with Lord Huron joining them as the other headliner, and Metric, the recently reunited Sunny Day Real Estate, Trampled by Turtles, Cautious Clay, Blitzen Trapper, Allison Ponthier, and, Slothrust among the other draws on the bill.
