The recent full-length from Australian punks Bloods charted the distance from riot grrrl to new wave, while covering important topics ranging from the post-#MeToo era to immigration and political exile. But embedded into each sonic and lyrical direction Together, Baby! takes is an undeniable sense of playfulness in the unyielding punk spirit that fuels the trio.

Yet for their recent “Neighborhoods” set, the band toned things down a bit for a mostly acoustic take on the album closer “Southern Light,” performed in their hometown of Sydney. Battling the raging winds—which can be heard throughout the video—the three-piece set up on the Clovelly Cliffs overlooking the South Pacific Ocean on the continent’s East Coast.
