If you’ve been reacting to the recent onslaught of music festival lineup announcements with a tinge of disappointment every time these massive events omit the Satanic blues-metal of anonymous fraternal duo Mamaleek, the intense and just a bit demented stream-of-conscious rants of cult rapper RXK Nephew, or any of Justin Broadrick’s countless musical projects, all of that changes today. Austin’s Oblivion Access Festival has announced the first slate of performers for the event planned for the weekend of June 15, with Broadrick’s monumental industrial-metal project Godlfesh set to headline alongside ambient giant Tim “Not Quite Heidecker” Hecker (if you squint really hard, you might be able to see Tim in this post’s header image).

Mamaleek and RXK are also both on the bill, as well as Lil Ugly Mane—whose underground-iconic album lends the fest its name—early-aughts emoviolence ensemble Jeromes Dream, Sissy Spacek (presumably the band), and most of the Flenser family, including Have a Nice Life, Chat Pile, Drowse, Planning for Burial, Bosse-de-Nage, Sprain, and recent signees Ragana. Tickets and passes for the multi-venue event are on sale now at the official website. Let’s get weird!
