In a post to his Tumblr last night, Frank Ocean seemed to confirm that he has two upcoming projects in their final stages.
In what is pretty much today’s version of an official announcement, Ocean gave us all the info we need (and have been eagerly waiting for) by tagging the photo #ISSUE1 #ALBUM3 #JULY2015 #BOYSDONTCRY. Billboard confirmed that Ocean has both a new record (the as-of-yet untitled follow-up to 2012’s channel ORANGE) as well as a print magazine called Boys Don’t Cry. Both will be released in July.
The last bit of new music heard from Ocean came at the end of last year, a track called “Memrise,” which has since been pulled from Soundcloud, but is still up on Tumblr.
