We’re on the cusp of spring, and even if that fact may not always be evident from the weather, a ceaseless barrage of news regarding summer festival lineup unveilings and national and global touring itineraries from individual artists indicate that comfortably-being-outside conditions are imminent. Two such artists getting ready to hit the road are Jaguar Sun, who recently played San Diego’s sold-out Peachy Fest, and who have yet to reveal the rest of their 2023 tour plans, and Husbands, who will be touring the Western US following their stint at SXSW.

In the meantime, the pair of artists have collaborated on a one-off single called “It Gets Better,” which looks toward the warmer months ahead. The gentle, psych-tinged recording slowly unfolds over four minutes of mounting electric guitar, whose riffs drown out the acoustic strums at the song’s base. “‘It Gets Better’ is a track about self-doubt in a confusing world, but grasping onto the hope that things get better and the hope that you'll figure yourself out in the end,” explains Jaguar Sun’s Chris Minielly.

The track follows the split EP the two artists released together last September, which included another track they collaborated on, “First Time Caller.” Hear the new cut via Born Losers Records below.
