Magdalena Bay have been going non-stop since dropping their acclaimed debut album Mercurial World in late 2021. They've played numerous festivals around the world, toured with Charli XCX, Caroline Polachek, and Flume, and sold out their own headlining tour—and in between they've found the time to put out a third installment of their Mini Mix series, remix Soccer Mommy, and even reissue their debut record as an expanded collection of songs.
With all of this in the rearview, their Coachella debut likely felt a little less daunting—even if an early gas station raven sighting momentarily derailed the pre-set vibes (spoiler: a Walmart dog restores these vibes at the end of the journey). With weekend two of the festival in the books, we asked Mica Tenenbaum and Matt Lewin to document some of their experience in Indio, California in photos, which they're sharing with us today. Find their pics (and captions) below.
