Gorillaz have announced “The Getaway Tour,” a run of four US shows slated for this fall with support from KAYTRANADA, Lil Yachty, and Remi Wolf. This will be the final run of US dates in support of the band’s recently released album Cracker Island.
The tour will kick off on September 10 at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, with stops at Q2 Stadium in Austin on September 13 and Credit 1 Union Amphitheatre in Chicago on September 16, before wrapping up on September 19 at Boston’s famed Fenway Park. The band is coming off back-to-back weekend Coachella performances and their highly successful 2022 World Tour led by Damon Albarn, where the songwriter was joined by a 14-piece live band and a varying cast of guest performers.
Tickets will be available starting with a Live Nation presale beginning tomorrow at 10 a.m. local time. The general on-sale will begin Friday, June 2 at 10 a.m. local time via the band’s official website.
