Woods have announce that their new album Perennial will arrive September 15 via their own label Woodsist. To celebrate the news of their first proper album since 2020‘s Strange to Explain, the Brooklyn-bred group have shared the double lead single “Between the Past” b/w “White Winter Melody.” The former song features a warm woodwind arrangement alongside vocalist Jeremy Earl’s signature falsetto before ’70s-inspired drums gives the track a sunny, cheery disposition.

The accompanying “Between the Past” video is a trippy vertical split-screen concept directed by Ian McNaughton, and the instrumental “White Winter Melody” features Connor Gallaher’s pedal steel. Check out both tracks below, and pre-order Perennial here.
