It’s hard not to love Andrew W.K. and his positive partying ways, especially given his hilariously wide range of skills, from Oxbridge-welcomed lecturer to advice columnist at the Village Voice. Oh yeah, he also plays music sometimes, too.

The latest project from W.K., a just-announced weekly two-hour radio program on Glenn Beck’s ultra-conservative radio network TheBlaze (the name fits, at least), is a bit surprising given his less-than-conservative ideals, but from someone who plays a pizza guitar, you have to expect the unexpected.

Of the show, which premieres this Saturday and will cover “a raw and penetrating discussion of what it is to be alive—meaning, motivation, mindset, and making dreams come true,” W.K. had this to add:

When Glenn asked me to do my own radio show on TheBlaze, I was shocked but excited, as I knew he would allow me the unrestrained freedom to say exactly what I wanted.  I’m very dedicated to exploring and learning from different people in different places, and always with an open heart.  If people never went outside their own box, life would be boring.  After all, why would I only want to talk with people who already think exactly like me?
