Back in January, we were treated to “Insecurity,” a fuzzy new 7” from Ryan Pollie’s bedroom project Los Angeles Police Department, marking his first release on Fat Possum.
To assuage us while we twiddle our thumbs in anticipation of a new full-length, LAPD has shared a video for that single, and you really get your money’s worth with this one.
Set to the tune of innocent ol’ indie rock, Pollie gets torn apart by some sort of demonic femme fatale—so much so that by the time he ends up crucified on a cross, you think, “Eh, not too bad.”
Jeez, Ryan, call the cops, man. Wait…
