This summer, Flyte—the duo of Will Taylor and Nicolas Hill—invited actor Florence Pugh to Taylor’s flat in North East London to sing a stripped-down version of Flyte’s song “Tough Love.” In the session, Pugh sings Laura Marling’s part, who accompanies the track in the studio recording.

The band’s self-titled third album is set to be released on October 27 and was recorded over 10 days at London’s Konk Studios with producer Andrew Sarlo and engineer Dom Monks. Back in 2021, Flyte played “Trying to Break Your Heart” and “Everyone’s a Winner” for FLOOD’s Neighborhoods series in support of their album from that year, This Is Really Going to Hurt. Revisit the performance here.
