Through the first two seasons of multimedia renaissance man Marc Maron’s IFC series Maron, the writer/comedian had been guiding us through a dramatized version of his real life, putting the pieces together to show how he ended up where he is today.
But heading into season number three, we’ve very nearly caught up with the WTF Podcast leader, and now begins the opportunity for the show to break completely new ground, reimagining the future of its star rather than reconstructing his past.
Just recently, Maron took a break while filming the latest batch of episodes to give FLOOD the scoop on how Maron gets made, where the show ideas come from, and what to expect from the limitless possibilities of the latest season.
Season three of Maron premieres Thursday, May 14, on IFC.
