Caroline Polachek has shared a new single entitled “Dang,” which follows her AOTY contender Desire, I Want To Turn Into You from earlier this year. Produced by Polachek and Cecile Believe (SOPHIE, Shygirl, Dorian Electra), with additional production by Danny L Harle (Charli XCX, Rina Sawayama, Flume), “Dang” is a shimmering jam that takes some sounds from the hyperpop movement and applies them to a more minimal production style.
Polachek debuted the track during a live performance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night, which came after a sold-out headlining tour in North America—including a Radio City show earlier this year—and a recent NPR Tiny Desk performance.
