While the Wu-Tang Clan studio-album saga hasn’t continued since 2017’s The Saga Continues, the monumental rap group’s various members have continued to make an impression on film, music, and culture more broadly over the years, in addition to reconvening in 2019 to work on the Showtime original series Of Mics and Men. Yet today we’re getting a new one-off single released under the project’s iconic banner called “Claudine,” with members Method Man and Ghostface Killah rapping between vocal bridges supplied by Dutch R&B artists and Roc Nation signee Nicole Bus—all of which transpires over a beat from Wu-Tang OG producer Mathematics.

“‘Claudine’ was made as a dedication to my mother,” Mathematics shares of the soulful track, “as well as an ode to all mothers, wives, and young women, reflecting their struggle, strength, courage and love.”

With no word on any other future output from the unit, check out the new track below. You can also revisit our cover story celebrating 25 years of 36 Chambers here as we approach the seminal record’s 30th anniversary next month.
